JUNIOR MUSIC PROGRAMME
For K1 - P6 Students

An all-round music programme designated for children which abandons the traditional approach of learning music. Through this programme, we introduce songs and activities of great diversity to children, so as to broaden their horizons in music, and have fun!

The programme may also prepare students for vocal examinations depending on their needs.

Milestones: Teachers will conduct regular assessments to evaluate students' learning progress. Students may apply for vocal exams (e.g. ABRSM) according to their own needs and abilities and we will further provide performance opportunities as a way of achieving learning goals.

Knowledge: Apart from learning song pieces from different geners, music theory will be integrated in the program so as to enrich students' knowledge, giving them the ability to apply their learning in other music interpretations.

Techniques: Students will learn singing techniques through learning different music genres, which will boost their confidence and spice up their singing.
ABRSM is the exam board of the Royal Schools of Music leading authority. It gives a series of realistic goals and tangible rewards for candidates’ achievements. Capable students may enter ABRSM relevant grades according to teachers’ recommendations.
Trinity Young Performers Certificates of Trinity College London are awards designed to develop performance skills, group interaction skills, confidence and sense of achievement through co-operation, creativity and music activities.
*Students have to pass teacher's assessment before applying for examination.
